Krisjon was a ring barrier(however that is spelled) in our cousins wedding Klint Blankenship.
He looked so handsome and grown up in his tuxedo. This is his third time to do this so he was a pro.
This is the little flower girl that walked with him.
Kaden had his birthday at Gran and Bibi's house(Rikki's Dad and stepmom).
He turned 5 July 10th. Aunt Kristi made his birthday cake with some help from our Mom, Nonny. It was a baseball, of course!
The kids had a blast playing in the yard. We had a slip n slide going down a hill and a baseball bat and ball as well as some different yard toys.

Opening presents! Daddy bought him a new bat for next year. He got a lot of great things like a hit away, lots of cars, baseball game for the tv, and a basketball goal. We cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and made homemade ice cream. It was a fantastic birthday for Kaden.

Matt turns 33!
Since we were in the middle of our tournament we went to eat at Cracker Barrel after one of our games. Nonny and Tony joined us.

Kristi and Kevin also came along. Kristi made Matt a hersheys chocolate cake. It was delicious.
Kenzie cheesing for the camera!
Kids being kids and wrestling. Notice who is on top! attacking the other two!
Now that baseball is over our summer finally begins! And what better way to start than on the slip n slide!
The boys finally talked Kenzie into getting on it with them and she had a blast.
Oh to be young again! Are they not cute?
This is the South Bossier Allstars. Seven of the kids from Krisjon's team made it so he was excited about that.
At the regional tournament in Blanchard, Louisiana. Warming up for the game.

Krisjon throwing to first from third!(He got this one out by the way!)
Our team made it all the way to the fourth round where we lost our second game sending us home. Even though we didn't go all the way we were so proud of how well Krisjon played through the whole season and how proud we are of how he carried himself as a person.
Krisjon recieving a participation award. He was so upset because he had never lost! and he is so competitive and he also knew this was the end of his season. He loves playing baseball.
Mommy and Daddy were so proud of Krisjon.
About 2 weeks after Krisjon finished his baseball season we got a call from our head coach telling us that Krisjon had made the Allstar team. He was 1 of only 2 seven year olds that made it! Needless to say we were thrilled for him and beaming with pride. Since their team won their coaches got to be the Allstar coaches as well, meaning Matt was a Coach!
Krisjon getting his trophy, medal, and team shirt for his baseball season with the Astros at our team party.
The Astros who won their division and league champions finishing the season 14-o. Pretty unheard of at this age level! We were proud of him and glad to be a part of such a great team and great parents.
Kaden finished up his T-ball season! We are very proud of how well he did. He is going to be a great ballplayer.
