Kenzie kept sneaking her finger in the icing while nobody was looking but I caught her and took pictures of her. My baby knows what the best part is! and hey they shouldn't have put it in front of me right!

Krisjon picked out his cake- oh what a surprise a longhorn cake. My poor brainwashed babies!

After bowling we all met up with the rest of the crew! Gran, Bibi, Grandma, Grandpa, Coach and Nini at Krisjon's all time favorite restaurant Shoguns for an awesome meal and some birthday cake. Krisjon got some great presents and a lot of money, maybe he can loan Momma some!

Krisjon decided he wanted us to go bowling to celebrate his 8th birthday so Nonny, my mom, Aunt Kristi, & Uncle Kevin decided to join us for a night of bowling.

Just to show you how proud Kaden was and is of his flash suit, which he wears all the time just like the kid in the movie Daddy Day Care. When they go to bed I shut the door till I go to bed so they don't get woken up by anything. Then before I go to bed I go in and check on them, fix their covers, etc. and open there door. Well on several occasions I have walked in to find him asleep in his mask- which he has gotten up to find after I have laid them down. I thought it was cute so I took a picture!

At Thanksgiving with Matt's family we had a little party for Krisjon's 8th birthday with cupcakes and a homemade candygram that Coach and Nini made for him along with a game of Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader-which I am not by the way!

Krisjon had to dress up as a pilgrim or an indian at school around Thanksgiving so MAtt, my Mom, and myself made him a vest, a headband, a necklace, and a bow and arrow(we also had some mocassins) to wear to school. Not too bad if I don't say so myself!

Goofing around!
Kenzie has the funniest personality. She is always doing things to crack us up. I wish I would remember to write everything down. Matt happened to pull the camera out this day because he thought it was so funny. She was back in our room playing and we were all in the living room watching tv when she came waltzing out with my knee high boots on like no big deal, just cheesing from ear to ear saying I got my boots on!
Darth Vader, Our 50's Barbie Girl, & Flash the Super hero! ready to get lots of yummy candy!

Kaden wanted to be flash all year because of the movie Daddy Day Care! (Not an easy costume to find by the way) He was so proud of it and he looked so cute in it. It fit him perfectly. Krisjon had been watching one of Daddy's favorite movies with him, the original Star Wars, and for some reason Darth Vader stuck. Kenzie said no to a lot of cute things but the first pink one we showed her got a yes! such a girl the dog on the front sealed the deal and we finally had a winner. Needless to say typical of a girl she took the longest to decide! But I think the final decision was good because they all looked so cute!

Instead of Trick-or-treating this year door to door we went with Gran and Bibi, my Dad and stepmom, to their church carnival to trick-or-treat. So we got to play games, eat and get candy!

More Carnival Pics. Afterwards we had to eat of Course!

School Fall Carnival Kenzie liked playing all the games but these pictures were taking at the end of the night and she threw the first couple of times and then decided it would be ok if she just went over and handed the rest through to the kid on the other side! After all the Princess was tired! It was so funny. There were two gyms full of games decorated by all the different elementary classes as well as games outside. It was a huge carnival and we had a blast at it.

Krisjon's class took there first school field trip to the TJC planeterium and to Brookshire Wildlife Museum in Tyler, Tx. He loved looking at the stars and planets. Then the museum of animals was really neat too. Afterwards he was able to ride home with me and leave school early so that was a binus but all and all it was a fun day!
