We got to go see one of Uncle Mike's football games this year. We all had a blast. Kenzie was scared of their mascot, it was pretty ugly!

Kaden's class field trip to the pumpkin patch. They got to take a nature walk, learn how pumpkins are grown, walk through the haunted forest, paint and keep a pumpkin that they picked, listen to a story and have a hayride.

Krisjon's thanksgiving program about Everday Heros. He got to play the drums which was so cool to him!

The Grinch Stole the Holidays Dinner Theatre at the boy's school. They each had a performance time and in between we ate hamburgers and cake. It was a neat program and the kids seemed to really like it.

The fire department drove Santa Claus through all the local neighborhoods. They threw out candy and ran the sirens and as they left they called out on the intercom Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. The kids were so excited, Kenzie was a little scared because of the sirens and loud noise, as you can tell by her face.

Krisjon's 9th bday. We ate at Shogun's, Krisjon's favorite restaurant. Then we went back to our house for cake and presents. We can't believe he is already 9. It is still a shock.

Kaden's kindergarten Thanksgiving program. They sang and danced, it was so cute.

Instead of dressing up for Halloween the boy's school had character day. They chose Mario and Lugi as their favorite characters.

School fall carnival. They had a ton of games and the kids had a blast.

Learning to swim at Coach and Nini's house. Krisjon was a slow learner wanting to know everything about it before he would try. Once we finally got him to try he loved it and was like a fish after that not wanting to get out. Kaden on the other hand was just the opposite. He jumped right in going under with no problems and then regressed not hardly even wanting to get in the water. Who knows, maybe next year for him. Kenzie loves the water but wants you right by her not letting go even though she pretty much does everything by herself. All in all it was a very productive year of swimming lessons!

Halloween. We made Krisjon and Kaden's costumes, Pac Man and the blue ghost and Kenzie wanted to be Daphne from Scooby Doo. We had a good time trick or treating through our neighborhood and they got a ton of candy.

Kenzie has been asking us for months to get her ears pierced and we have shrugged it off thinking she is too young. But we were in the mall shopping and she saw the earrings and started it up again so we gave in. She of course picked out the pink flower earrings and sat perfectly still for the first one. Then she seemed shocked, I guess she thought it wouldn;t hurt even though we told her it would! The tears came for the second shock but she still remained perfectly still. She cried till we walked out the door, with a toy of course, and as soon as we were out of the store she stopped crying and turned to me and said it only hurts a little bit! Drama Queen. And that was the end of it, happy as a lark after this and so proud of her earrings!

At cousin Kasie's birthday party. We are so glad we live close enough that all the kids can get together and grow up together. They have so much fun with each other.
Out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings: Kasie, Kenzie, Kaden, Kaylah and Krisjon
