Mother's Day the kids surprised me with some presents, Krisjon even had a homemade card and set of cards he made all by himself. It was so special and sweet. I love ya'll!

I haven't had pics of the kids made in forever so I have no wallets of Kenzie since she was a year old. So I asked her to come out and pose for a picture for me to have for my wallet. I thought it was so cute I had to share it! She is growing up way too fast.

Krisjon's team, Braves, finished 3rd after there season. We had a great team this year and parents, it made the transition great. We also just found out Krisjon made the all-star team. Congrats we couldn't be more proud. All his Coaches told us what a great kid he was always happy and respectful, and that it was an honor to coach him. Makes us feel good that maybe we are doing a good job?!

Awards ceremony for 2nd graders. Krisjon recieved best speller award for his class, an award for reading with a six flags ticket!, a special physical fitness award signed by the President of the US, and achievement award for all A's. We are so proud of him.

For all those who went to school near Kilgore, TX took an annual trip to the East Texas Oil Museum. Well they still do and Krisjon's school was no exception!

Krisjon participating in his school's field day! He loved doing all the events but he was upset it was only for two hours instead of all day.

Kaden played coach's pitch this year on the Mudcats! He had a lot of fun.

Well we may not have the time to work on the inside of the house yet but with spring here and summer fast approaching we decided at least we could get the outside looking good. So, we added to the landscaping by planting 80 zinnas, 10 lantana, and added mulch. We were so proud of how it turned out after all the hard work put into it. Thanks to matt's parents who came to help, we couldn't have done it all without them. It is really starting to feel like our home now!

We celebrated my 31 st birthday at our favorite place to eat: Shogun's. Then we went back to my mom's for cake and ice cream. I got a lot of help with the cake and blowing out candles. I think she thought it was her b day again.

For my b-day (last year!) everyone bought matt and I a stay at a bed and breakfast in Granberry, TX. So we used it this year . It was beautiful and the food was delicious. It was a nice break from everyday life. I realized when we got back I didn't take any pics of us! Oh Well!
We ate lunch at Grandma and Grandpa's then hunted easter eggs. Grandma's flowers were so pretty we took a pic in front of them, just wish we would have not faced the sun so we wouldn't have such scrunched faces!

HAPPY (LATE!) EASTER from our family to yours!

This is what happens when you tell a princess there are no more eggs to color!
This is our face while we were coloring eggs!
Our finished products.

Coloring easter eggs to hunt at Gran and Bibi's house. Lots of fun, it's funny how we always end up using our hands as dippers!

Krisjon's school had a rainforest day for the second graders, they had all kinds of activities set up for them and a room decorated like the rainforest where they learned about the animals in the rainforest. It was really cool. For lunch they had a rainforest cafe in the gym, they made rainsticks, got a terriarium with earthworms, released ladybugs. During the middle of the day it was like a rainforest outside! We had some bad weather and tornados in the area so we spent several hours in the "tucked" position. Lots of fun with 20 scared kids! But all in all the day was great.

Playing short stop I was lucky enough to have my camera ready for this diving catch behind second base. He got up and made the toss to second to get the guy out! Not that I'm bias, but it was an awesome play.

Krisjon was asked to play on a tournament team during this baseball season by the league coaches. He played on the Texans in a super series tournament in Gladewater were they took first place!

Longview actually got a little snow this year! In the middle of march! We were shocked to wake up that morning for school and see some snow flurries in the air. Although it didn't last very long it was great for the kids to get to see snow for the first time.
