We were happy at how aggressive Krisjon is out on the field. He goes for those flags and blocks with the best of them. We are very proud of him.
After the game he was pooped, he even went to bed early that night! And even though we didn't win he still had a lot of fun which is what is most important!
Somehow Krisjon ended up being the second fastest kid on his team and as so became a running back. Here he is on the move Go Krisjon!!
It was extremely hot our first game being at 2:00 in the afternoon it was a 100 degrees. Towards the end of the game it started taking it's toll on the kids. Krisjon's face was totally red and he didn't have as much pep in his step!

Getting ready for our first Football game. We had to get down and ready and show a mean face!
Kenzie and Kaden wanted in a picture too! Notice Kaden has his football, he wants to play so bad!

We saw a sign up sheet at Open House for flag football and Krisjon asked to play. Daddy said flag was fine so we signed him up and figured he could meet some kids this way.
He is loving it. He is the second fastest kid on the team so he gets to be a running back.
Poor Kaden is still too young to be able to play but they let him practice with them and he gets right in there with them and isn't scared. So far we've just had practices the games start this Saturday. We are the Steelers!

Well I'm not sure who all we've told so I figured it was easier just to put it on here. Matt was transfered to Dallas Love Field in April and me and the kids stayed behind till school was out and we could try and sell our house. Well by August our house had not sold but we had someone wanting to do a lease to purchase. So we accepted their offer and they are leasing with the option to buy and have 12 months to decide. Unfortunetly we are unable to afford two mortgages on one salary so me and the kids have moved in with my Mom in Longview for the year. Hopefully they will take us up on the offer and we can start looking for a new home. So please pray for us. Krisjon started the second grade here. He was so excited at not having to wear uniforms! His teacher seems really nice. We know he had a good first day because he came out that afternoon all smiles and waves!

We took our family vacation this year to Daytona Beach, Florida with our freinds Brandon and Kim Smith and their 3 kids. We had a great time and our kids had a blast.

We body surfed of boogie boarded whatever it is called, as well as skim boarded and looked for seashells, or pretties as Kenzie says!

We also crab hunted at night which was a lot of fun! We had a great week and the kids keep asking when we get to go back to the Beach again!
At Krisjon's allstar party. It was held at the local minor league stadium of the Shreveport Sports. The kids got to go out on the field while the players warmed up and get their autographs.
The best part was that each player got to run out with the player that played their same position and hear their name being called out over the stadium. And at third base Krisjon Segleski! He was pumped and thought that was so cool. He took his hat off and waved to the crowd when he heard his name with a grin so big it had to hurt his face! The guy with him was really cool he talked to Krisjon the whole time and high fived him.
They stayed on the field during the national anthem.
They all also recieved a trophy for doing such a great job this year.
Daddy and Mommy were so proud of him!
